Some photos from my 034 high output coil upgrade. Sometime when I get a chance, I write something up that is more detailed.
Here is the assembled coil bracket from 034. I recommend replacing
the
standard M6 nuts with nylock nuts, otherwize it will not stay tight.
Drilled a hole in the mounting bracket installed a j-clip to
bolt the
new coil bracket.
Replaced the factory metal T shown above , so that the hose
could
be routed under the new coils, below.
Here it is installed except you can see that the passenger's
side of the coil
bracket is just floating. I have modified the POS bracket to use as a mount,
but while I am waiting for it to be powdercoated, I made a temporary hanger
that connects to the strut tower brace. I don't have a photo of that.
The boot portion of the sparkplug wire is just a little too
long to properly install
the center portion of the valve cover. I later modified
a set of 3B sparkplug wires.
